How do you choose and vet caregivers?

Our staff must demonstrate substantial skill and aptitude in caregiving, as well as trustworthiness. They range from caregivers with over 3 years of experience to fully certified nursing assistants (CNAs).

We accept applications through our online system or via referrals. After reviewing them, we schedule a virtual interview with promising candidates. We request and check professional references before scheduling an in-person interview.

During the in-person interview, the caregiver undergoes a drug test and a skills assessment. Finally, we conduct a full national and statewide background check to ensure their trustworthiness. We hire all caregivers as W2 employees. Through this selection process, we choose only the most capable caregivers to serve our clients.

How do caregivers know what care to provide?

We use a mobile application called Axis Care to securely track clients’ routines and vital information. Caregivers can access this system throughout their time with the client.

During our client intake process, we develop a full daily routine for that individual. We then input this personal care plan into the system, along with details like where to park and find things in the home. This easy-access system helps caregivers maintain a consistent routine and handle all essential tasks with confidence.

What is the cost of in-home care?

Our hourly rate is currently $32/hour for an individual, and $36/hour for couples’ care, with a 4-hour shift minimum. Prices are subject to change based on industry fluctuations.

How does billing work?

Caregivers clock in and out using a mobile GPS-based tool on our mobile app. This ensures caregivers arrive on time and reduces billing errors.

We use QuickBooks to safely collect payment every Monday. We bill for hours worked during the previous week.

Are you and your employees insured?

Yes, we carry full liability insurance with bonding, along with full worker’s compensation insurance for all of our caregivers.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not take insurance, with the exception of long-term care insurance.
